Dr Jibayo Adeyeye, has concluded plans to commissions a world-class Psychiatric Specialist Hospital and Drug Addicts Rehabilitations Centre in Ondo town.
The establishment of the hospital which has no political colouration, but poorly community services to people of the town and the society at large.
Dr Adeyeye, a certified Medical Doctor, a legal luminary, an entrepreneurship, politician, a philanthropist per excellent, an employer of labour and strong believer in human mental resilience, established the Hospital in his community as part the he love for the people of the town.
The multi-million naira project named “Mind Medica” founded by the Dr Jibayo Adeyeye located in the popular Funbi-Fagun area of Ondo town along Ondo/Ile-Ife road will be commissioned by the Governor of Ondo State, Dr Lucky Aiyedatiwa on 22nd of August, 2025.
The Hospital equipped with modern infrastructure, advanced diagnostic tools, serene therapeutic spaces with a team of highly trained mental health professionals,
will offer a wide range of services including professional counseling and comprehensive rehabilitation programme.
The health centre when fully begin medical activities, apart from providing treatment for those suffering from mental illness, but also correct mental health, confront harmful stigmas, and promote early intervention and as well provide employment opportunities for job seekers.
According to a source, closed to Dr Adeyeye, said the former the Medical Doctor, to embark on the project is part of his service to his hometown and to tackle the menace of mental health disorder and drug addiction in the society.
The source explained that for decades, mental health and drug addiction has often been misunderstood or overlooked, leaving many individuals and families to suffer in silence.
Explaining that the vision of Dr Adeyeye to embark on the Hospital is to complement the efforts of the Ondo State Government and to contribute his quotas to the growth and development of the people his home town.
The source explained that with the creation of the Hospital and rehabilitation centre, many cases of mental derailment can be addressed with timely, targeted interventions in most situations.
