A political group, the Honourable Abiola Makinde (HAM) Volunteer group, has expressed it’s heartfelt congratulations to the newly sworn-in Councilors in the 12 political wards in Ondo West Local Government area of the State.
The group in a statement on Thursday by its Convener Hon. Adeniyi Adeyosoye and signed by it’s Digital Secretary Mr Ayo Adetula, congratulates and wished them immense success in their new roles.
According to the statement “The election of these Councillors is a validation to their loyalty and commitment to our great party. We celebrate their victory, particularly Honourable Olatuja Doris, who has made us proud as the House Leader.
“We also seize this opportunity to express our profound gratitude to the amiable Governor of Ondo State, Honourable Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for his fair play and leadership role in the election. His commitment to an all-inclusive governance, where women were empowered to contribute their best, is truly commendable.
“Our appreciation also goes to all party leaders in Ondo West, who have demonstrated unwavering support for our councillors before, during, and after the elections
“We are grateful for the leadership of Honourable Dr Abiola Makinde, (father of empowerment), who is also the Atunluuse of Ondo kingdom, whose outstanding contributions to the human capacity and infrastructural development in Ondo East and West Federal Constituency is worthy of note.
“We equally congratulate and salute the executive Chairman of Ondo West, Honourable Akinfolarin Akintunde and other party stalwarts. They are indeed great leaders”
The HAM Volunteer group, while expressing confident in the capacities and abilities of the newly elected Councillors, also expressed optimism that they will perform exceptionally and bring the desired change to the people at the grassroots.
