Ekiti CP lauds Journalists over positive reportage
Ekiti State Commissioner of Police, Mr Dare Ogundare, on Tuesday lauded members of Nigeria  Union Journalists, Ekiti State Council, over what he described as positive reportage of activities of men and officers of the command.
The Commissioner dropped the hint while playing host to members of the executive of NUJ Ekiti State Council led by the Chairman Comrade Kayode Babatuyi.
The Ekiti State Police boss particularly commended the Journalists over what he called good reportage on the activities of the command since he assumed the leadership of the command.
While reiterating the readiness of the police in the command under his watch to continue doing his best, police the state and make an habitable for more business to thrive, equally promised to continue in safeguarding the lives and property of residents of the state.
The Ekiti State Police helmsman promosed his continuous assistant to members of the pen profession operating in the state.
Earlier in his remarks, the NUJ Chairman, Ekiti State Council, Comrade Kayode Babatuyi, thanked the Commissioner for the love he has for the Journalists operating in the state..
He explained that the visit is part of the move by the new executive members to strengthen more relationships between the police and members of the pen profession operating on the state.
The Ekiti NUJ Chair solicited for more robust  relationships between his members and the police, noted that the development would further promote and enhance the operations of the police positively.
He disclosed that two police officers the Commandant of the Rapid Response Squad (RSS) and the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the command jas been penciled down for the union award slated to be hold layer in the year.
