Ado Central LCDA Chair bags Newshereandthere excellent award

The. Chairman, Ado Central Local Council Development Area, (LCDA) Ekiti State, Engr Toyin Ojo on Tuesday bagged award of excellent from the management of NEWSHEREANDTHERE News Magazine.

The award titled “Icon on Community Development” was presented to the Chairman amidst share and encomium by the management of the magazine held at the secretariat of the council in Ado-Ekiti, capital of Ekiti State.
Speaking during the award presentation, the Publisher and Convener of the Magazine, Mrs Adewumi Ademiju, said the award conffered on the council boss, prior to his landmark achievements in governance, excellence, service delivery and provision of basic necessity to the people of the council.
She noted that her team had been following numerous activities of the Chairman aimed at bringing government closer to the people and making lfe bearable to the people of the local government, since he took over as the pioneer Chairman of the LCDA.
According to her: “the Chairman of this LCDA, has been able to make a landmark achievements in governance and developing the grassroots.
“He has succeeded in excellence, service delivery and basic necessity, because of these, we have found him worthy to be honoured by the NewsHereandthere award” she stated.
She urged the council helmsman to continue in providing dividends of democracy to the people of the LCDA, noted that the move would make him to earn more awards within and outside Ekiti State.
In his response, the Chairman commended the team of the Magazine for the award, adding that his efforts at providing dividends of democracy to the people of the council area is in line with the six points agenda of Governor Biodun Oyebanji’ administration.
The council helmsman who is also a registered member of Nigeria Society of Engineer (NSA) lauded Governor Oyebanji for creating an enabling environment for him the move which he said has made him to perform and execute his aspired projects and make the people at the grassroots to enjoy the dividends of democracy.
Similarly, the council helmsman used the ocassion to expressed his heartfelt gratitude to staff and Councillors in the LCDA for their supports, love and cooperations, adding that many achievements he recorded would not have been possible without their unwavering commitments.
He further pledged to improve his impacts in his host community in order to complement the shared prosperity agenda of the Governor.
The highpoint of the brief ceremony held at the office of the Chairman was the presentation of the plaque to the Chairman, the ceremony was attended by the staff, Councillors and other aides of the Chairman amidst encomium.
