The Vicar in charge of Aramoko Archdeaconry, Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), under Ekiti West Diocese, Rev. Emmanuel Gbenga Erinle, has been slammed with suspension for alleged sexual misconduct.
According to a source closed to the church in Aramoko Archdeaconry, said the suspension order was conveyed to the embattled Priest, through a letter by the Bishop of the Diocese, Rt. Revd. Cornelius Adagbada,
The letter dated 2nd of September, 2004 signed by the Bishop and addressed to the Vicar said “ the Diocese frowned on the alledged sexual misconduct on the fact that such nefarious act was making worshipers to leave the church on daily basis to another church”.
Other allegations levied against the suspended Anglican Cleric are he was said to have be involved in a scuffle with a church warden whose girlfriend he impregnated in one of his sexual escapades.
Apart from this, the suspended cleric was said to have had carnal knowledge of a teenager who is also a member of the church outside his wedlock.
The source equally added that the embattled Vicar was alledged to have found of making video recording of his various nefarious activities with members of the church and that one of the videos was recently leaked to the bishop of the Diocese.
It will be recalled that the suspended Vicar was instrumental to the suspension of a former Bishop of the diocese sometime in 2022.
Members of the church who spoke under condition of anonymity over the mater, said the embattled Vicar is noted for his sexual immorality are happy that he is finally exposed.
Meanwhile, all text messages sent to the phone number of the embattled Anglican Vicar was not replays as his phone number was switched off.
