A political in Ondo State, HAM Volunteer Support Group, has insisted that come 2027, the member representing Ondo East and West Federal Constituency, Hon Abiola Makinde must contest for the position of the Ondo Central Senatorial District.
The group with over ten thousand members, spread across the six local governments in the Central Senatorial District, insisted that the ranking lawmaker must contest for the position of Senator to represent Ondo Central at the upper legislative house.
The supports group who insisted that intimidating achievements of Hon Abiola Makinde, is enough for the ranking lawmaker to have a mojority votes ahead of other contestants in the Ondo Central Senatorial District.
The group pointed out some the life-changing programmes embarked upon by the lawmaker are one of the major reasons they are mandating him to contest for the Ondo Central Senatorial District.
Some of the projects mentioned by the group are the recent distributed instructional materials for primary and secondary schools within Ondo East and West federal constituency.
Other project mentioned by the group are, construction of 6-blucks of classrooms at Saint Andrew Anglican Grammar School, Ondo.
Construction of Eki zoo and recreational parks as well as building of ultra-modern library for the community among others.
The group disclosed that all it’s members spread across the Ondo Central Senatorial District has concluded plans to stage a rally apparently to mandate the lawmaker to contest come 2027.
