A Pan-Yoruba socio-cultural group, , Defense for Yoruba People’s Right (DYPR) has declared its intention to support and work for the victory of the second term of Governor Ademola Adeleke.
The group equally pitched its tent with the Accord Party governorship candidate, explained that its members numbering about eight thousand, spread across all the thirty local government areas of Osun State will work and ensure the victory of the Governor during the conduct of the exercise.
The Yoruba group spoke in Ile-Ife at the weekend, during it’s first monthly congress in the year 2026 held in the ancient community.
The DYPR in a statement signed by its National President and Secretary, Otunba Muyideen Olamoyegun Comrade Bolawa Akindolire, respectively, said the group purposely scheduled the meeting in the ancient community apparently to declared its intention to support the Governor and ensure his victory during the election.
Describing Governor Adeleke as the most distinguished candidate among all other contestants, with visionary leadership style known for his profound wisdom and compassion.
Explained that the Governor apart from been dedicated his efforts to uplifting individuals and communities, he has in several years transforming challenges into opportunities for the progress of every individuals within his environment.
The Yoruba group while declaring its total supports for the Ede-borned politician, equally vowed to work and ensure his victory during the forthcoming governorship election in Osun State.
Going through the profile of the Governor, the group explained that apart from the 40 years experience in the private sector, Adeleke’s entrepreneurial ventures, particularly as captain of several industries before he became the Governor has significantly impacted Nigeria’s economic landscape.
“His expirience in politics since he joined is another point that will earned him victory during the forthcoming governorship election in the State.
“A passionate advocate for political reform and social justice, his contributions have earned him numerous accolades and chieftaincy titles across the southwest states of the country.

The Yoruba group however urged all residents of Osun State to support and vote for the Accord Party candidate during the conduct of the exercise, noted that if voted in as governor of Osun State lives of every individuals in the state would change for better.
