A renowned mathematician and Information Communication Technology ( ICT) expert at the Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo , Dr Kehinde Emmanuel Adenegan , has been installed as the 13th President of the Rotary Club International Ondo, AFUED, chapter.
Adenegan, a member of Knight  in the Church of Nigeria, (Anglican Communion) , during the investiture witnessed by members of the international organisation, also rolled out his 7-point  agenda for the year 2025-2026, aimed at transforming the organisation to a greater heights.

Speaking shortly he was decorated, the great Mathematician said his agenda to lift the international organisation to another level will include,  focus on unity, development, and service to humanity, with projects including provision of healthcare facilities at the Adeyemi University Health Centre and free ICT training for 100 university staff among others.

Other projects mentioned by him in the agenda includes agenda road safety awareness programme for commercial motorcyclists; resuscitation and re-equipping of the Learning Resource Centre for visually impaired students; feeding support for the visually impaired students; operation keep the campus clean and production of monthly newsletter to mention a few.

He thanked members of the organisation for counting him worthy to be installed as it’s 13th  president,  the AFUED Senior Lecturer promised to lift the organisation to another higher level.
The high point of the event witnessed by members of the University  community, business world, members of Rotary club, political class, and beyond, was the exchange of battom between him and the outgoing President Prof. Tope Oziegbe amidst share and encomium.
In his remarks at the occasion, the Vice Chancellor of AFUED, Professor Bayode Popoola, represented by the Registrar of the institution, Rot Olufisayo Fakorede, reiterated the readiness of the institution to support Dr Adenegan agenda which he said were aimed at lifting the organisation to a greater heights.
The University helmsman said he was particularly moved by Dr Adenegan’s inclusive vision, which he said  were targeted  to empower visually impaired students with modern assistive  technologies including the club’s annual feeding support programme for these students also garnered widespread appreciation.

The ceremony climax with generous outpouring of donations, demonstrating strong support for Dr. Adenegan’s vision. It was attended by the Assistant Governor Akinkuotu who represented the District 9126 Governor, Rot. Funke Batife, Rot. Prof. Tope Oziegbe  Mr. Johnson Olaniyi, Regional Head in Dangote Group of Companies, Hon. Chief Adeola, Chief  Steve Akinrotoye, Prof. Taiwo Adenegan, Hon. and Dr. Akin Awodeyi Akinsehinwa among other personalities.
