The Ekimogun Youths Connect (EYC) has appointed an Electoral Committee to conduct a free and credible election as the the tenure of the current executive winds down.
The leadership of the Ekimogun Youths Connect also dissolved all standing committees and as well appointed electoral committee to usher in a new set of Executives as the current Executives led by Comr Famakinwa Lucaskakaki expired.
According to a statement signed by Comrade Philip Faseminikan on behalf of the factional youths group, said the move is in line with the constitution of the organization in Article 10 section 1, 2 and 3 ; ELECTORAL COMMITTEE which says
“An electoral committee shall be nominated by the president and ratified by the congress, at the end of a current administrative tenure.
The statement added that the president of the youth group Comr Famakinwa Lucaskakaki during the congress of the group held on Wednesday 29, October 2024, appreciated all members, executives, stakeholders and caucus members the congress, over what he described as
their supports committments and sacrifices during his tenure.
He recalled how they all stood with the organization through thick and thin and dedicated all the recorded success of the organization to all members.
The President later read out the names of the electoral members for ratification and he dissolved all standing committee of the organization in line with the constitution.

– Chairman – Comr Omotayo Omolayo (Human Rights Activist)
– Vice Chairman – Comr Richard Akinsanmi (Secretary, Ondo State Carpenters)
– Secretary – Comr Akinyande Ayomide (Tech Expert)
– PRO – Comr Quadri Olawale (Fashion Designer)
– Member – Comr Ismaila Lateefat (Author, Publisher)
The mode and date of the 2024 Ekimogun Youths Connect general Election will be announced by the committee as soon as possible.
