A leading contemporary farms, the Nibanola Farm, has won the largest and highest egg producer award in Ondo State.
The farms located at the outskirts of Ondo town, in Igbado community in Ondo West local government area of Ondo State is winning the award for the second in a roll, was said owned the largest poultry farm and the largest egg producer in Ondo State and the southwest region of the country.
The farms owned by a legal luminary and medical doctor, Hon Jibayo Adeyeye, was given the award by the statistical analysis and evaluation of all egg producers conducted by the Technologist in Livestock and Husbandry Scientists in Nigeria during its annual delegates conference, recently held in Akure, the capital of Ondo State.
Presenting the award to the farm, the delegates explained that the roles of scientists in the newly created Ministry of Livestock can also help to harness opportunities in the ministry more importantly for people to involved in livestock farming.
Responding shortly after receiving the award on behalf of the farms, the Chief Executive Officer of Nibanola Farms, Dr Jibayo Adeyeye; appreciated the team and dedicated the award to the ever dutiful workers of Nibanola Farms.
He encouraged both young and old in the society to engage in farming. He said “If Agriculture goes wrong, nothing else will go right in the country, it is time we are delibrate about agriculture, to enjoy the blossom future that awaits” he stated.
